Sabor a Cabo Food Festival 2011

As it is now a tradition in town, the Sabor a Cabo Food Festival 2011 will officially kick off in Los Cabos for the third year in a row, since 2009. Meaning "Cabo Flavor", this year's event will bring together famous chefs from the most renowned restaurants in this breathtaking destination, to share their imaginative creations from international cuisine favorites. The festival will last for four days, starting on November 28 and concluding in an amazing event on December 1, 2011.

The Sabor a Cabo Food Festival is an event that combines the best of Los Cabos cuisine with world-class entertainment, all while strengthening charity by supporting the local Red Cross and firefighters through ticket sales to events and workshops.

There will be gala dinners with incredible cuisine created by well-known Mexican chefs like Angel Carbajal, Jesus Castro, Antonio de Livier and Drew Deckman, as well as participation from international chefs including Aquiles Chavez, Edgar Nunez, Benito Molina, Solange Muris and Diego Hernandez. These will take place at Las 12 Tribus Restaurant in the Casa Dorado hotel, Cabo San Lucas, on November 28 and 29.

This year promises to be even better with an acoustic concert by Magnificent 7, a band made up of musical virtuosos like Teddy Zigzag Andreadis and Matt Sorum from Guns N' Roses, Mark McGrath from Sugar Ray, Billy Morrison from The Cult and vocalist Sebastian Bach, ex-member of the band Skid Row, not to mention local bands Cabo Wabo and Las Varitas.
