If you are in the fighting chair, the sun on your back, rod socketed in and the line screaming while a big fish pulls and jumps... you're at Cabo San
Lucas
for sure, the Marlin Capital of the World. And surely you are at one of the many fishing tournaments in Los Cabos held throughout the year.

If you haven't come, it is about time you do and live the excitement of these particular celebrations. Prizes include substantial amounts of money whilst the encounter with nature is abundant, respectful and fulfilling. The most famous ones are the Bisbee Black and Blue Marlin Tournament held in October, and in November there is Los Cabos Billfish Annual Tournament ranking 15th among billfish tournaments around the world. It is also the first one to offer a prize in cash to the team who releases more fish once they were measured; this turns the tournament itself into a leader in conservation.
